Starting My Own Business Designing Wooden Memory and Keepsake Boxes.

After working online affiliate marketing for about two years, at the beginning of 2008 I decided to start my own business designing and in some part manufacturing wooden keepsake and memory boxes. It has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience although not without a few hiccups along the way.

My new business at http://www.readscreations.co.uk was launched locally early in 2009 and online in September 2009 and after my first Christmas, which has been very busy, it looks as though the business is a success.

Having been selling online for about four months now, the best selling boxes have been the customised boxes and personalised boxes. I have just been deciding on my marketing campaign for 2010 and there are so many outlets and options I shall have to take is slowly and approach the potential growth slowly so I can ensure a good cash flow.

My Solid Oak and Pine memory boxes, which are handmade locally, are selling really well and I am out of stock again so if I am going to expand them to more options to include a lockable oak box I need to talk to my supplier regarding more stock or look for a second supplier.

Still problems with Clickbank

My feelings are that there are still problems with Clickbank tracking - I would like to think everything is OK but I still see very few sales. Are people just not spending money any more or is something else going on.

Forwarding and Framing Clickbank Hoplinks

What I didn't realise is that Clickbank or Adwords don't approve of forwarding and framing or masking hoplinks so that is probably why my hops aren't showing in Clickbank. I have paused all campaigns for the moment.

Google Adwords are now looking for, not just a landing page, but a total website with approx. 6-10 pages and internal links in order for you to get a good quality score.

I am now looking for a way to build numerous websites for my Clickbank Campaigns. Choosing products I know something about or find interesting and including my links within the site.

I'll let you know when I find what I am looking for. Perhaps Wordpress.org might be the answer.

Problem with Clickbank Tracking?

I am having problems with clickbank tracking at the moment. Although PPC shows 89 clicks only 11 hops show up in clickbank analytics.

I would be interested to know if anybody else is having this problem as I have stopped my advertising campaign with Adwords until it is sorted.

If anybody has any information??
